Is Zuni Blue your real name?
My real name is Zahra Brown. My surname is Brown, a colour, so I wanted a colour to be my author surname. I considered Black, White, Green, and Grey. I didn’t think that they suited a children’s book author, so I went with my favourite colour instead: Blue. The name Zuni sounds cute and fun. I can’t remember why I picked it, but I’m glad I did.
