  • Children’s Non-fiction Book
D-Twins Rebooted Series Update

I haven’t touched the D-Twins series at all this year and we’re in March! I need to start the second drafts soon…

Christian Children’s Book Series Update

I finished the second draft of a Christian children’s book series in February. Now I’m wondering if I should focus only on the Christian series and leave the D-Twins reboot until later. What do you think I should do? Email me to let me know.

Children’s Non-fiction Creative Writing Book Update

It’s a creative writing book for young writers. I’ve published one before, but this time I focused on creative writing prompts. I was ready to make beta/ARC copies available to people on my mailing list. Instead, I decided to add more to the book. I planned on writing 100 prompts. Now there are a lot more than that…

The extra prompts mean the book’s release has been delayed, but it’s worth it. I had the chance to add another writing prompt topic. It came to mind last week. I thought, “It’s too late to include that now. What a shame!” A week later, I’ve included it! I’m glad I did!

Now I’m also considering a hardback version of this book. I’ve never released a hardback before! It’ll be so exciting holding it in my hand for the first time. I remember how excited I was holding my first ever paperback. It was the Booger King book. I can’t wait to hold the rebooted version someday…

Thanks for reading!

Speak to you soon!

Zuni

I broke my promise to you.

I’m sorry that I promised to blog every month but didn’t. I let a month without blogging slip by, then another month, and another one, and now we’re at five months without any updates! I didn’t want to write something that wasn’t worth reading. I wanted to write the “perfect” post and go over it multiple times, just like I do with my books. Trying to be perfect has made me publish no books or blogs. I keep letting nerves and perfectionism win…

It’s time for a change! I’m starting a publishing challenge right now. My goal is to publish 11 books by December 31st 2024. Once a month I’ll keep you up-to-date on what’s happening.

If you’d like to join me on this journey, subscribe to my mailing list today! You’ll hear more about the challenge including writing, editing, book blurbs, book covers, ebooks, paperbacks, and publishing the finished books.

Is there anything you’ve been putting off? How did you finally get started?
